Jim joined RMI in 2005 after having spent 15 years at Jones Waldo Holbrook & McDonough, one of Utah’s longest operating law firms. Jim received his law degree from the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law as a William H. Leary Scholar.

Employee Retention Tax Credit

As you probably know, in March 2020, Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (the “CARES Act”), which included an employee retention tax credit (the “ERTC”). Can I (as the employer) require my employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19?

Good question. We’re already vaccinating significant portions of the population.
